Tyre fitting and buying FAQs

Booking & Pricing

Yes. We still sell new tyres by phone. Call 0121 389 4396 with your tyre size for current options, a price and fitting advice. Online ordering and booking for new tyres are under maintenance; you can still book fitting for tyres you already own online.

Yes. Use the garage-service booking form for tyres you supply. Call 0121 389 4396 instead if you want to buy new or part-worn tyres.

Call with your approved tyre size and vehicle details to discuss current new-tyre options. Brand listings on this site are reference guides, not a stock list.

Garage Services

Yes. Changing a tyre you supply costs £10 per tyre. Balancing is recommended but optional at an extra £5 per selected tyre. In the booking form, tick the wheels you want changed and choose balancing for each one.

That depends on your vehicle, the tyres and workshop availability. If timing matters, call before you visit.

We remove the tyre from the wheel to inspect it inside and out. A minor puncture in the permitted tread area may qualify for a permanent repair to BS AU 159. Sidewall or structural damage and damage from driving flat can rule out repair. We advise you after inspection; a roadside plug is not a permanent repair.

Yes. Locking wheel nut removal costs £25 per nut. We use specialist tools and assess the wheel first; damage-free removal cannot be guaranteed.

Tyre Types & Stock

Call 0121 389 4396 for current sizes, availability and prices. Part-worn tyres must pass UK supply and safety checks; the website does not display live stock.

Compare individual models in your approved size using their wet-grip, rolling-resistance and noise labels, rather than assuming every tyre from a brand performs alike. Call for currently available options and a quote.

A run-flat tyre is designed to allow limited continued travel after pressure loss, subject to the vehicle and tyre maker's specific limits. Check the handbook and tyre instructions; do not assume every run-flat has the same distance or speed limit.

Mobile fitting coverage is not confirmed on this website. Call 0121 389 4396 with your location to ask whether it is available. Our listed workshop is Unit B, 1200 Coventry Road, Birmingham B25 8DA, open 8am–8pm daily.

XL stands for 'Extra Load'. These tyres have a reinforced internal structure allowing them to carry a heavier load than a standard tyre of the same size. They are common on heavier vehicles, estates, and SUVs.
