Wheel Balancing

Ask us to check vibration caused by an out-of-balance wheel.

Wheel balancing corrects uneven weight distribution in a tyre and wheel assembly. If you notice vibration, contact our Coventry Road garage in Birmingham to discuss the symptoms. Balancing is not wheel alignment and will not resolve every cause of vibration.

What's Included

  • Removal of wheel from vehicle
  • Checking wheel balance
  • Application of balancing weights where needed
  • Refitting the wheel

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know my wheels need balancing?

Vibration at speed can be a sign, but can also have other causes. Have the wheel and vehicle checked rather than assuming balancing is the answer.

Is wheel balancing the same as wheel alignment?

No. Balancing corrects weight distribution around the tyre and wheel assembly. Alignment adjusts the angles of the wheels relative to the road.
