Tyre changing and part-worn tyre fitting

As tyre fitters in Birmingham working from one workshop, our process is the same whether the tyre is brand-new or part-worn. Part-worn tyres get an extra look for visible damage, repairs and age before we mount them; if something does not look right, we will tell you rather than fit it.

Our tyre changing service covers removing your old tyres and fitting suitable replacements. Book fitting for tyres you already own, or call to arrange tyres supplied and fitted together. Balancing is an optional extra selected per wheel.

Why balancing is offered with every fitting

A new tyre and wheel are rarely perfectly even in weight. Balancing adds small weights so the wheel spins smoothly, which helps avoid vibration through the steering and uneven wear. It is optional and charged per wheel; you choose it for each wheel when booking.

Valve replacement

Rubber valves age and can leak. A tyre change is the easiest time to replace one because the tyre is already off the rim. Cars with tyre pressure sensors may use a different valve type; mention this when you call or book.
